Community Guidelines

ThrillGauge’s community features help riders share useful information while keeping exact measurements and individual ride reports private. Participation is optional. By participating, you agree to these Guidelines and the Terms of Use.

1. Use an appropriate username

Do not use sexual, profane, hateful, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory language; promote violence, illegal conduct, or self-harm; impersonate ThrillGauge, a moderator, a theme park, another person, or an organization; disclose personal information; use a deceptive or promotional name; or evade screening through misspellings, symbols, separators, or substitutions.

2. Submit honest information

Only submit ride reports and ratings reflecting your genuine experience. Do not fabricate outcomes, intentionally enter inaccurate measurements, coordinate voting, create duplicate accounts, or attempt to manipulate RideFit Scores, ratings, points, badges, rankings, or access.

3. Respect privacy and safety

Do not seek, expose, or infer another person’s identity, measurements, health information, contact information, or private ride history. Never encourage someone to ignore posted restrictions, evade an on-site check, conceal relevant information, alter a restraint, or argue with a ride operator.

4. Reporting and blocking

Report a username when you reasonably believe it violates these Guidelines and select the most accurate reason. Do not knowingly file false reports, coordinate mass reporting, or use reporting to harass another person.

You may block a community profile. Blocking hides that profile and its leaderboard entries from your view. Blocking does not itself submit a moderation report or establish a violation.

5. Moderation and enforcement

ThrillGauge may screen usernames and may approve a username, require a change, restrict visibility, suspend a public profile, exclude unreliable contributions, limit features, or terminate an account. Context, severity, repetition, evasion, and effects on users and data integrity may be considered. Serious conduct may result in immediate action.

6. Appeals

Email contact@thrillgauge.com from the address associated with your account. Include your username and a concise explanation. Do not send measurements or sensitive information unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure channel.

7. Changes

These Guidelines may be updated as community features evolve. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
